We often avoid problems, are afraid to look at them, or try to preserve what we are afraid of losing. We fall into grief from losses or increase control from reasonable to pathological, creating the illusion of safety. We try to hold on to what is pleasant and secure its possession both at the cost of “building” relationships or material investments, and through magical thinking through “managing” the universe or negotiating with God so that he will be favorable and not take away what we have. ⠀ But, unfortunately, sometimes no karmic management, body kit with the right stones, white light from the guru, the right food, money, successful success and even enlightenment do not guarantee eternal life on earth, permanent youth and health, popularity and recognition or ideal relationships. The hope that everything will always be okay is one day replaced by the experience of loss and disappointment, followed by surviving sacrificial patience with the creation of new hope, after which the cycle repeats. This phenomenon has long been described in detail in various traditions (the wheel of Samsara, for example) and its essence boils down to the fact that in such an unpleasant way the development (or degradation) of our consciousness occurs. ⠀ In general, people share:
- For those who are waiting for suitable conditions to start real life (for example, when everything around is fine);
- And those who have learned to live life to the fullest regardless of circumstances. By the way, if you were Fate or God, which of them (1 or 2) would you like to smile at?
In the meantime, I will share with you my 10 basic “Stalking” skills - the rules of life that do not depend on circumstances.
Recognize your own and others' weaknesses. Ask and help
Ask for help without considering it humiliation or duty, leaving people the right to refuse. Accept help in the form in which you can use it, choose who to follow. People tend to help with sincerity and strong spirit. Only the strong can admit their weakness. Asking and helping others are two sides of the same coin, which means that even if “everything is bad,” then one day you will have the opportunity to help someone who finds themselves in a storm; the intention to help others is one of the most important meanings of any element of the system . There is always someone who follows you, do not deprive him of support, because behind him there is someone else who, without knowing it, is following your path.

Where do legs come from?
I thought a lot about where this comes from in me. WHERE?
I don’t want to feel THIS way, I don’t want my mood to depend on the presence or absence of the sun (and I live, by the way, above the Arctic Circle) or the thickness of my wallet on this particular day or even a long period of my life. So why?
Most often, legs grow from childhood.
This is when we internalize the destructive thought patterns of our usually loving but often unhappy parents. For many of them, life did not turn out the way they wanted and dreamed. They live with thoughts of “if only…”. And we also begin to think, feel, and live our lives in a hypothetical world, instead of lifting our butts and doing something in reality. It’s scary to think how many destinies were ruined by this seemingly harmless “if only…”
How to quickly change your life?
If an individual radically changes his thoughts, he will be amazed at the rapid transformation of his environment.
On the topic: how to change your life with the power of thought?.
Some people believe that the inner life can remain a secret - but this is not so.
Thoughts quickly turn into habits, habits manifest themselves in the form of circumstances.
- Base thoughts cause habits such as drunkenness and uncontrollable sensual pleasures, followed by devastation and illness.
- Impure thoughts create habits of weakness and confusion that lead to the manifestation of unfavorable circumstances.
- Fearful and doubtful thoughts create cowardice and indecisiveness in a person, the result of which is poverty and slavery.
- Thoughts characterized by laziness give rise to habits of impurity and dishonesty, leading to corruption and poverty.
- Hateful and judgmental thoughts form habits of blame and violence, followed by physical pain and rejection.
- Selfish thoughts lead to pride, which entails unhappiness and discord in all matters.
On the other hand, beautiful thoughts result in the form of good and kind habits, leading to bright and favorable circumstances.
Pure thoughts create moderation and self-control, the fruit of which is calm and peace.
Courageous thoughts full of self-control and determination give a person a positive attitude that creates success, abundance and freedom.
Energetic thoughts train a person to be productive and efficient, followed by favorable circumstances.
Gentle and forgiving thoughts form kindness, which attracts the necessary security and protection to the individual.
When thoughts of love and selflessness become habits, prosperity and true wealth arise.
Both good and bad mental attitudes invariably show themselves in character and circumstances.
Nature helps each individual to make into reality those thoughts that he most cherishes.
She provides him with the opportunity to embody both good and evil thoughts.
If a person leaves his sinful thoughts, the whole world will soften towards him and will readily come to his aid.
If he eliminates his weak and sick thoughts, opportunities will open up for him everywhere to show strength and determination.
If he cultivates good thoughts, no cruel fate can fetter him with the bonds of misfortune and shame.

Leading proposed circumstance
In life, we always act under certain conditions, circumstances created by life itself. On stage, the actor acts in the proposed circumstances (suggested by the playwright, director, artist, his own imagination, etc.). First of all, you need to understand what is meant by the words proposed circumstances.
THE PROPOSED CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THE PLAN OF THE PLAY, ITS FACTS, EVENTS, ERA, TIME AND PLACE OF ACTION, LIVING CONDITIONS, OUR ACTING AND DIRECTOR'S UNDERSTANDING OF THE PLAY, ADDINGS TO IT FROM OURSELVES, MICE-EN-SCENE, STAGE, DECORATION AND ARTIST'S COSTUMES, PROPERTIES, LIGHTING, NOISE AND SOUNDS, AND ETC., ETC., THAT ACTORS ARE SUGGESTED TO TAKE INTO ATTENTION IN THEIR CREATION (K.S. Stanislavsky). When working on a performance, we define three circles of proposed circumstances.
A wide range of proposed circumstances - the Earth, the era of the play, life, aesthetics - everything that is in the world outside the plot of the play.
The middle circle of proposed circumstances is the play itself, the life circumstances of the characters, their characters, events included in the plot, the relationships of the characters, etc.
A small circle of proposed circumstances are circumstances that directly influence the actor in the scene, determining his goal and action.
PROPOSED CIRCUMSTANCE OF A SMALL CIRCLE DETERMINING THE CHAIN AND THE FIGHT FOR IT. THAT IS, THE DETERMINING ACTION OF THE ACTOR IN A GIVEN EVENT IS CALLED THE LEADING PROPOSED CIRCUMSTANCE (Katsman A.I.).
Stanislavsky gave the following definition of the leading proposed circumstance: THE LEADING PROPOSED CIRCUMSTANCE IS AN EVENT THAT OCCURRED BEFORE THE START OF THE PLAY, BUT CONDITIONED THE MOVEMENT OF THE ENTIRE FABULAR STRUCTURE OF THE PLAY. Since it happened outside the play, and not before our eyes, and the entire further course of the play depends on it, it is called LEADING. If the officials had not plundered the city, there would have been no play “The Inspector General”. But since the “looting” did not happen before our eyes, it is a circumstance for us, and a leading one, since in the future the entire course of events of the play depends on it. In other words, the leading circumstance proposed is something without which there would be no play.
The leading proposed circumstance in the story “A Star in the Fog” is that the main character’s friend stole her husband, and the heroine was left without a husband and without a friend. Without love, without friendship, without family. One time.
Origin Event
THE ORIGINAL EVENT IS THE EVENT THAT STARTS OUTSIDE THE PLAY AND ENDS BEFORE OUR EYES.
The action of the play begins with him. It connects the leading proposed circumstance and the beginning of the struggle through end-to-end action. In many plays, especially by modern authors, at the beginning there is an exposition (the initial event), then an initial event (the beginning of the struggle through the end-to-end action). In a classical work, as a rule, the traditional arrangement of events is preserved, first the initial event, then the exposition (initial event).
I defined the initial event in V. Tokareva’s story as the betrayal of her husband, girlfriend - “Stab in the back”,
Central event
THE CENTRAL EVENT EXPRESSES THE CONFLICT OF THE PERFORMANCE. This is the peak, the culmination of the struggle through end-to-end action, the most significant event, after which the struggle goes into the open.
The central event in the story I have chosen is Refraction. Week of passions. And if it weren’t for this week of passions that my heroine found herself in, she would not have entered into today’s life, because you can only enter here with a ticket purchased at the cost of suffering.
Super task
SUPREME TASK - THE BASIC, MAIN, COMPREHENSIVE GOAL, ATTRACTING TO ITSELF ALL TASKS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, Evoking the CREATIVE ASPIRATION OF THE ENGINES OF MENTAL LIFE AND ELEMENTS OF THE ARTIST-ROLE.
Everything that happens in the play, all its individual large or small tasks, all the creative thoughts and actions of the artist, similar to the role, strive to fulfill the super-task of the play. The general connection with it and the dependence on it of everything that is done in the performance is so great that even the most insignificant detail, not related to the super task, becomes harmful, unnecessary, distracting attention from the main essence of the work.
The ultimate goal is the director’s point of view on the author’s idea, the reason for which we are staging the play today. We need a super task, similar to the writer’s plans, but which will certainly excite a response in the human soul of the artist himself. This is what can cause not a formal, but a rational, but a genuine, living, human... experience. But at the same time, the ultimate task is often hidden in the depths; on the surface of the work, as a rule, there is a slogan, morality, primitive meaning. The ultimate task is a hidden concept, it is a riddle, an emotional secret that needs to be solved.
You can’t play a super task, but it determines your character.
The main task and the idea for the director are one and the same. It's a matter of terminology. The term of literature is an idea, the term of a director is a super task. The idea - the ultimate task - must be in the heart. You have to get over the work.
I highlighted the main task in the story “A Star in the Fog” in the following thought: “A person must accept any blows of fate, fight them and always win. As they say: “no matter what happens, everything is for the better.”
End-to-end action
WE CALL THE EFFECTIVE, INTERNAL ASPIRATION THROUGH THE WHOLE PLAY OF THE ENGINES OF MENTAL LIFE OF THE ARTIST-ROLE - THRU-THROUGH ACTION OF THE PERFORMANCE (Stanislavsky K.S.). The super task is realized through end-to-end action. THROUGH ACTION IS THAT STRUGGLE AS A RESULT OF WHICH THE SUPREME TASK IS APPROVED. The end-to-end action in the play occurs before our eyes. This is something the viewer has to keep an eye on. This is the realization of the conflict of the play through an event-driven sequence. The definition of the end-to-end action of a work always includes the word “struggle” for something, for the sake of something. For an actor, a correctly found end-to-end action gives rise to the right end-to-end feeling. If there were no cross-cutting action, all the pieces and tasks of the play, all the proposed circumstances, communication, adaptations, moments of truth and faith, etc., would languish separately from each other, without any hope of coming to life.
An idea is always revealed through simplicity. Cross-cutting action is often hidden. If earlier, before Chekhov, there were two camps in plays that conflicted with each other, then Chekhov does not have a second camp - the conflict is internal.
In modern dramaturgy it is not easy to reveal the end-to-end action, it must be found, discovered, and it will become the core on which the struggle is strung. Since the end-to-end action is struggle, there naturally exists a counter-through action, which is usually not named, but it is implied.
The cross-cutting action in V Tokareva’s story is the struggle with the state of mind, with pain, bitterness and reconciliation with the loss of her husband.
Conflict
CONFLICT IS THE PROCESS OF THE FORMATION OF A MAN OR HIS FALL, THE PATH TO GOD OR TO THE DEVIL, IN A MAN OR TO AN ANIMAL (Katsman A.I.).
The concept of “conflict” is the most important concept in directing. A conversation about the conflict of a play is a conversation about how the director reveals the spiritual content of the struggle of the characters.
The director needs to see in the struggle of the characters not a clash of abstract ideas, but a clash of concrete spiritual forces that are the springs of human actions. Call these forces moral forces, spiritual principles, life positions, feelings or needs, talk about the thirst for power, the desire for freedom, love for the Motherland, hoarding or love for good - all these are the driving forces of human actions. The greatest energy is hidden in the deeds of a person and his actions - the energy of the human spirit. This is what the director should comprehend and convey to the viewer. It is important that behind the formula of “clash of ideas” the director sees, understands and feels the spiritual forces.
CONFLICT IS A CLASH OF IDEAS THAT RESULTS IN STRUGGLE.
Every work is a struggle of ideas. Therefore, conflict is always an ideological concept; it is realized in the play through end-to-end action. The overarching goal of the work, which is realized through end-to-end action, affirms the conflict. The forms of conflicts may be different, they change over time, but their essence is always the same - a clash of ideas. The conflict is revealed through moral and aesthetic categories.
The conflict in the story “A Star in the Fog” is the emotional experience of the main character. She is on the verge of death - a state of “distress”, complete degradation from life, cut out from time. She is on her own, and time itself flows separately from her...
Event-active series
A play usually has several acts. ACTION IS THE ONLY PSYCHOPHYSICAL PROCESS OF ACHIEVING AN INDIVISIBLE GOAL IN THE FIGHT WITH PROPOSED CIRCUMSTANCES (SMALL CIRCLE), EXPRESSED IN SPACE AND TIME (Katsman A.I.). In each action there are several events that the director must find for himself and give each of them an effective name. Thus, a chain of events, major and minor, is formed. AN EVENT IS AN ACTUAL FACT THAT TURNES SITUATIONS IN ANOTHER DIRECTION (Stanislavsky K.S.). When analyzing, the director needs to build these events sequentially, starting with the initial one, give each event an effective name and determine in each event the actions of each character participating in this event. The characters' actions will be correct if the object of the fight is definitely found within the event. An event is always a process that is happening now, before our eyes in time and space. Everyone on stage and the audience participate in the event. Therefore, on stage (unlike in life) there cannot be several parallel events at the same time. The viewer can follow only one event at a given period of time. Each event can have only one action and one counteraction. Thus, an event is the sum of circumstances with one action. An event is an indivisible unit of living and stage space. Events are the bricks from which the performance building is built.
Circumstances force us to act. Therefore, as circumstances change, the action changes, and as the action changes, the event changes. A person’s action is always determined by where the person’s psyche is directed, but it manifests itself through the physical, through behavior.
METHOD OF PHYSICAL ACTIONS - FINDING THE CORRECT PHYSICAL ACTION THAT REVEALS THE PSYCHOLOGICAL MEANING OF THE EVENT. Therefore, the action determines the event. The event is the effective side, because it all starts with circumstances. An event develops in time and space, therefore it is temporal - spatial.
How to control your internal state
Happiness is a complex concept. When all areas of life are balanced, a person feels happy. And balance is achieved not by external random circumstances, but by the ability to control the internal state. To learn this, you need to act systematically:
1. Realize that feelings and emotions are temporary - this will relieve internal tension and anxiety.
2. Live for today. If feelings are not constant, there is no point in worrying about what they will be like in the future. Focus on the emotions you receive here and now.
3. If thoughts or ideas bother you, ask yourself: why am I thinking about this? What will happen if this happens? What happens if this doesn't happen? How will this affect my life? Did I come to these thoughts myself or with someone’s help?
4. Stop worrying about the future. People often have high expectations for events that have not yet happened. No one knows in advance whether these expectations will be met. So get rid of the worry that causes stress.
5. Be outdoors more often. Get outside for at least 10 minutes a day. Beautiful scenery and fresh air will reduce anxiety and relieve increasing stress. Take a walk in the parks: connecting with nature is an ideal way to calm down and look at life from a different angle.
6. Learn to let things go. It's not easy to do. But this is a conscious choice. They let go of high expectations, demands on themselves and other people, negativity, regret, guilt, shame, anger, resentment. Don't let these emotions rule your life.
7. Meditate. Meditation practices can help you calm down, focus, and challenge your own emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Meditation disciplines – and this is an important quality on the path to spiritual harmony and happiness.
8. Follow through on every task. Unfinished tasks weigh on a subconscious level, take away energy, and cause anxiety. Try to bring everything that is possible right now to its logical conclusion. And you will immediately feel relief and calm.
9. Give thanks for everything you have. Gratitude distracts you from bad thoughts and improves your mood. List all the good things you have and thank them - you will see how many positive moments there are in your life and reasons for joy.
10. Get rid of connections and relationships that are burdensome. Don't worry about what people think of you. The main thing is that you will feel relief. You no longer have to waste energy - direct it to achieving your goals.
11. Work on your self-esteem. Only a self-sufficient person can achieve inner harmony. Celebrate all your victories – even the smallest ones. Make a list of your positive qualities, skills, habits - when you see how much you know and can do, your self-esteem will immediately rise.
12. Take care of your health - this is an important criterion for a long and happy life. Health is a source of strength and energy that is necessary to realize your dreams and goals.
13. Dream. First you need to imagine your happy life in your imagination - in details and colors. The more concretely you imagine your happiness, the faster you will understand how to achieve it.
14. Realize that the level of your happiness depends only on you, and not on external circumstances and other people. Start following the steps we have outlined.
Being happy is serious mental work that requires regular, systematic actions. Gradually, these actions become a habit, a person performs them automatically, and they become part of his life.
Not everyone is ready to work hard every day to develop the habit of being happy. Therefore, we meet people satisfied with life much less often than negative whiners.
If you are one of those who forge your own happiness, remember two important rules:
• You won’t be able to become happy right away – there is too much to learn, so break a large task into many steps; • Perform one small action every day that will bring you closer to the result.
Do circumstances have power over your life?
Proactive people, on the contrary, take full responsibility for the situation in which they find themselves. They use existing circumstances to their maximum benefit, change what they can change, and adapt to what is (yet) impossible to change.
In fact, it is precisely this difference in human behavior that Stephen Covey focuses on in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Individuals.”
If you still think that circumstances are decisive in your life, then you will be interested in reading the following story.
It all started in 1980...
This year, two twins were born almost simultaneously. Together they began their life, and their paths were parallel for a long time. They went to the same kindergarten together, went to first grade together, and studied at the same school together. For a long time, everything they wore was the same, even their clothes.
And they also survived the 1993 default together... But for some reason, when they turned 25, they achieved very different results. One of them was able to buy himself a new apartment, had not only a highly paid, but also, most importantly, a job he loved, and received twice or even three times more than his twin brother.
The second, despite the fact that he studied at the same university, worked without pleasure, did not receive much, lived with his parents and cursed everything and everyone. One could hear the following from him: “It’s just that my parents never supported me and did not develop confidence in me. It’s just that the passing grade at the university was too high, and I had to choose a worse specialty. It’s just the genes.”
And everything would have remained the same if one day the second brother, looking at his first brother, had not asked the question: “Why did he succeed?” And then the truth was revealed to him - it was not circumstances that were the cause of his failures, but HIMSELF.
HE showed WEAKNESS where he should have shown PERSISTENCE. HE retreated when it was worth challenging. HE was a “raft” that was carried by the current, instead of being a “ship” that made its way.
It was when the second brother realized this that his life began to change, he discovered a previously hidden path to success.
What was the main incentive for him? He saw that his brother, under the same circumstances, was able to build himself, and then built his life. This opened his eyes to the fact that circumstances have no power over a person who has made a decision and persistently moves in the right direction, despite any obstacles.
.
Let's reveal the cards. This is an absolutely true story about two brothers, one of whom was me. And, sad as it may be to admit, I was the second brother.
I am glad that I saw where the path led, on which I abdicated responsibility for everything that happened, giving the choice of direction to the power of circumstances. This path leads anywhere, but not where you really want to go. This means that on this path you will never experience true happiness, true love. On this path you are in someone else's power, you are a slave to circumstances.
Freedom is the prerogative of people who are ready to take responsibility for their decisions, the prerogative of conscious people.
Having realized this, I changed radically. It was an internal rebirth. Now I myself notice people who behave the same way I used to behave. I understand how stupid it is to blame circumstances; this knowledge is now an integral part of me. This knowledge continues to change me, forcing me to move and develop my weaknesses. This world is just a mirror that is given to us so that we can look into it and see how imperfect we are sometimes, how much we are sometimes mistaken in our beliefs.
But we are capable of change!
The next time you feel inclined to blame yourself for your (even small) defeat due to external circumstances, think about who you give the right to choose, who you give power over you. Your laziness? Lack of tenacity and perseverance? Weakness?
It is worth remembering the statement of one successful person: “Everyone has circumstances: the richest and the poorest. It’s just that some people use circumstances to their advantage and control them, others are controlled by circumstances.”
As always, the whole problem comes down to a question of choice. Do you want to make your own choices in your life or are you content to let others make those choices?
When I wake up every day, I make my choice. I decide what the day will be like, how active I will be, and how consciously I will make decisions. Every evening I can evaluate the results of today. Sometimes I succumb to circumstances, sometimes I get the better of them, but I always remember that I have a choice, and this is the main thing.
Today I read and translate articles, write my own articles and think about many issues - it takes me quite a lot of time and effort, but this is my path of self-improvement. I'm trying not so much to teach others as to learn myself; Sometimes, acting as a teacher, you yourself begin to understand the subject better. The subject of my study is LIFE.

How circumstances affect peace of mind
If external circumstances made a person happy, there would be many more positive and satisfied people in the world. However, our feelings are fickle. Circumstances change, and along with them, thoughts, feelings, emotions.
It is impossible to feel content if you are in a war zone, starving, or suffering from a lack of drinking water. With a change of environment, your state of mind will improve. But the person will remember the horrors of the war, the relatives and friends who died - and these are again negative emotions.
Fat and thin people are equally happy or dissatisfied with life. Even after losing extra pounds, many people remain mentally depressed. A slender figure only got rid of some problems: the rest need to be solved differently.
Hence the conclusion: external circumstances make us happy only for a while. And then other events occur that entail new thoughts and emotions. And so on in a circle.
Good news: happiness and spiritual harmony do not depend on external circumstances. We influence our own condition and can be happy in any situation. But this needs to be learned.
How to deal with circumstances?
In light of this truth, what is the so-called “fight against circumstances”?
An ignorant person constantly rebels against the external conditions of life, while at the same time continuing to preserve and maintain in his heart the cause of their occurrence.
It may be a matter of conscious evil or unconscious weakness - but whatever it is, an internal obstacle holds back any attempt by a person to achieve change.
First of all, he needs to remove this barrier. Many people persistently strive to improve their living conditions, but are not ready to improve themselves.
It is for this reason that they remain constrained.
A person who refuses to change himself will never succeed in achieving the goal towards which his heart is directed. This fact is true for both earthly and heavenly goods.
Even an aspiring individual must be willing to make great personal sacrifices before his dream becomes a reality.
How much more is required from a person who develops in himself the qualities of strength and calmness!
Many continue to entertain themselves with the illusion that they suffer because of their virtue.
But the truth is the opposite.
