Definition
Inner world is a synonym for the word “psyche”. This is a worldview, feelings and emotions formed under the influence of external and internal factors. It depends on the environment and culture. The concept is described using two different approaches, but means approximately the same thing.
The first approach can be represented as follows: spirit + soul + will + mind + body. Its decoding:
- Spirit is the desire that makes a person move.
- Mind - rational thinking, memory, attention.
- Will is the ability to overcome difficulties and achieve goals.
- The soul is the substance that makes a person alive. Includes feelings, impulses, desires.
- The body is a kind of vessel that contains the inner world.
Second approach: values + psychology + personality + intelligence + behavior. It can be explained like this:
- Values are what a person strives for, what he wants to achieve.
- Intelligence is the operation of knowledge using thinking, memory, and attention.
- Psychology is everything that does not fit into the framework of the rational.
- Personality is the inner core.
- Behavior is the actions taken to achieve goals.
The personal world can be different: problematic and harmonious, rich and poor, simple and complex, deep and superficial.
A person, being a rational being, must strengthen his inner core, form values, manage behavior, emotions, feelings, and develop his intellect. With the right approach, the inner world becomes richer with age, but with the wrong approach, on the contrary, it becomes poorer. It is susceptible to influence from the outside, so any accident can change it. But there are no obvious cause-and-effect relationships, which is why the result can be unpredictable.
There is no clear definition of this concept. Experts present it as a system capable of self-regulation and striving for stability.
Books that shape a person's inner world
Good literature is like a friend and can even become a spiritual teacher for a person who knows himself. A read book for the soul and mind is time well spent, a huge resource and a “brick” in building the inner Universe. Books that shape a person’s inner world:
- “ The Sage and the Art of Living
” by A. Meneghetti. Rise above everyday life, reason and answer useful questions proposed by the author: “Why did I come into this world?” "What is happiness?" "Who am I?". - « A chest of magical stories.
Therapeutic tales » N. Bezus. Traveling with the heroes of fairy tales, both children and adults will find something that is close to their beautiful inner world, touch the strings of the soul and provide a resourceful state. - “ Eat.
Pray. Love » E. Gilbert. A book that became a worldwide bestseller and was brought to life on screen. The main character's struggles and search for support and love within herself. About how to find the light within yourself. - “ How to organize your inner world
” by G. MacDonald. The inner world can be like a blooming garden, beautiful and harmonious, or it can be in chaos, as a result of which the world, like a mirror, brings down problems on a person. - " Life Without Borders
" Nick Vujicic. A happy man with a rich inner world, who warms people with just a smile and a glance - he knows how to be happy - God did not give him arms and legs, but gave him a heart full of love.
Structure
It develops in a single temporal direction - from the past to the future, but through the present. For example, someone who has experienced betrayal will not be able to forgive it, but will learn to live with this condition. The human world consists of interdependent and interconnected components. It is impossible to say which ones are important and which ones are secondary. According to the existing theory, every person has hidden places of the soul that can be activated under certain conditions.

Worldview
It is a system of views and ideas about the world around us. Determines the direction of action and purposefulness. Has a direct impact on behavior, inclinations, habits. Worldview structure:
- knowledge;
- principles;
- beliefs;

Worldview is related to society, its problems, as well as personal beliefs and stable views on life. Manifests itself in the form of dogmatism, criticism, skepticism. It is formed spontaneously or consciously (through the purposeful enrichment of one’s own ideals and principles). Worldview is emotional and can change over time. It is divided into several categories:
- worldly;
- religious;
- scientific and theoretical.
In people's lives, worldview plays an important role because it provides guidelines, direction for activities, and tools for achieving goals. It is formed under the influence of external factors, but is based on innate characteristics.
Cognition
Cognition is a person’s need for knowledge about himself and the world around him. It consists in receiving and understanding information about the meaning of life, one’s place in it. This is a set of mental and intellectual abilities that enable a person to receive information, comprehend it and remember it. The forms of sensory knowledge are:
- sensation;
- perception;
- performance.
Intuition is considered separately - a type of cognition where the understanding of truth occurs without logical justification and proof. Partial awareness appears suddenly.
Knowledge of the internal and external world occurs through understanding and recognition of information received verbally or through the senses.
Emotions and feelings
The subjective experience of the current situation is called emotions. They are closely related to feelings, but last much less. Feelings are an emotional state with a pronounced objective character. Emotions include:

- intellectual;
- cultural;
- aesthetic;
- moral;
- practical.
They depend on the environment in which a person is located, as well as on the development of society as a whole. Feelings and emotions form the basis of the inner world. Through them, knowledge of the outside world occurs, acceptance or non-acceptance of norms, rules and laws.

1. Two students drew their inner world. This is what they did.
What is common and how is the inner world of these students different? Describe how each student appears to you. The author of the first drawing is most likely a boy, since there is a car and a ball typical of boys.
The second student (most likely a girl) loves dolls (she plays with them, plays with responsibility, just like adult women are responsible, she looks at them and absorbs them into herself). Knitting is also revealed by her peculiarity as a girl.
And fairy tales are what children like; they, perhaps under their naivety, believe in them. Plus, on top of everything else, they are simple in content, so they are also interesting.
A laptop with the Internet is a feature of the modern world; children use the Internet, because with it they can communicate with friends and watch cartoons.
2. Draw a symbolic picture of your hobbies. Compare what you drew with the drawing of your desk neighbor. What coincided in your drawings? Which lines from paragraph 4 (pp. 35-36) can serve as a conclusion to this task? 3. If you were an all-powerful wizard, what would you wish to have? Make a list in such a way that the most secret desire is written under number 1, and the least significant desire is written under number 10. 1. So that all countries are friends with each other and the war ends. 2. So that everyone on earth, from small to large, is happy. 3. So that all people respect each other. 4. So that all homeless animals are domesticated. 5. For people to invent cures for all diseases. 6. So that people love their work. 7. So that there are no poor people. 8. To explore all the mysteries of space. 9. To have a lot of sweets. 10. To improve nutrition at school. 4. The hero of one of the fairy tales was ready to exchange half his kingdom for a horse. Explain in what case such an exchange is appropriate and equivalent. If the horse is very good and important for the hero, if he loves him, then he can give away half the kingdom. 5. Look at the picture, fill in the windows in the pyramid with your own examples.
6. Which of the following relates to feelings and which to emotions? Label feelings with the letter “H” and emotions with the letter “E”. Fear - E Joy - E Pride - E Love - E Envy - E Love - E Friendship - E Sadness - E Anger - E 7. What feeling is most difficult to express without words? Explain why. Any real feeling is difficult to express in words because the emotions that accompany these feelings are much stronger;
be it love, or hate, or anything else. What feelings are expressed by emoticons? Write signatures for them.
8*. In the textbook on p. 40 (task No. 4) talks about the “Pharmacy of the Soul”. Indicate at least three items that may be in such a pharmacy. Explain why you chose them. Recordings of records with works of classical music. A shelf with old, tattered books by famous authors. A snow globe inside which the winter night always reigns. There is always fluffy snow falling slowly there. This landscape will bring healing to the soul with its regularity and calmness. I chose these particular items because sometimes simple calm and a good melody are enough to heal the soul.
Self-development
To understand yourself and not get lost in your own thoughts, you need to think about the meaning of life and try to find answers. A rich world helps a person on his life’s journey to overcome obstacles, build and achieve goals. You need to develop gradually. It is recommended to start small: stop judging people, feeling sorry for yourself and self-flagellation. The formation and manifestation of inner wealth occurs thanks to simple things, including:
- Eating the right foods. Healthy eating is important for good health. Bad habits destroy personality, lead to degradation and impoverishment of the inner essence.
- Interaction with nature. The body is filled with energy when a person breathes fresh air and is surrounded by green vegetation and fragrant herbs. The singing of birds and the murmur of streams have a calming effect. A person must learn to properly use the gifts of nature and take care of them. Interaction with animals creates care, compassion, tenderness and warmth.
- Helping people. You need to help those in need and be able to ask for help in difficult times. Society is a single mechanism consisting of many elements. Supporting one of them is important for all the others.
- Gratitude. The ability to be grateful is an important human trait. Every day there is something worth thanking people and higher powers for.
- The ability to rejoice. Pessimistic people do not enjoy life, look at the world with anger, and do not bring happiness to others.
A person develops when he strives for something and achieves something. He must have a goal, but initially he must determine his own capabilities.
Finding yourself
For better self-knowledge, it is recommended to engage in spiritual practices, work with the body, or spend a few minutes a day thinking about your past life and current achievements. It’s good to think while listening to calm music and sounds of nature. A city dweller should spend a little time in the forest or by the river to collect his thoughts and take a break from the hustle and bustle. For knowledge it is recommended:
- yoga;
- breathing technique;
- gymnastics;
- dancing;
- run;
- walks in the open air;
- work with thoughts;
- setting priorities, determining true desires;
- replacing negative emotions with positive ones.
A person must understand what the meaning of life is, in which direction to move.
Filling the “vessel”
What a person touches, he is transformed into. This is fair folk wisdom. To develop your inner essence, you need to define a model of behavior, set goals wisely, and choose the right tools to achieve them. Need to:
- read books;
- watch educational films;
- participate in psychological trainings;
- help those in need;
- treat nature with care;
- show politeness and restraint towards others;
- visit museums, theaters;
- learn, discover something new;
- control emotions, thoughts, desires;
- participate in volunteer movements;
- give up bad habits and harmful environments, change your circle of friends.
READ Willpower: what it is and ways to develop it
When a person is filled with goodness, he studies it. If there is anger inside, it will definitely manifest itself. The basis of improvement is work. The formation of the soul is influenced by the people around us, their actions, actions, and behavior. In this case, the statement is appropriate: “If you want to be rich, be with the rich, happy - with the lucky.”
What is the inner world of a person?
The concept of the inner world is very multifaceted, it can mean biological processes occurring in the body, such as the speed of connection of synapses, homeostasis, the location of internal organs, thinking processes, but to the same extent this concept can be attributed to the mental organization of a person, the state in which he located: harmony or chaos. Every person has an inner world, but for some it is the whole Universe, while for others it is a barely lit “small closet”.
The inner world of a woman
Men will never come closer to understanding what the inner world of a woman is like, because the beautiful representatives of humanity are a mystery to themselves. The inner female world is a treasury of different states, the ability to visualize events and phenomena and influence the world. If a woman is closed inside herself and does not allow herself to bloom and be beautiful, she will never inspire her man to achieve accomplishments. What helps a woman enrich her inner world:
- communication with the Divine (reading prayers, singing mantras, heart-to-heart conversations with God);
- reading developmental, psychological and spiritual literature;
- handicrafts (the ones you like);
- listening to classical music;
- communication with friends, older women;
- communication with nature.
The inner world of a man
Popular psychology describes a man’s inner world as a space in which he can indulge in dreams, thoughts, and psychologists believe that a man’s spiritual organization is more subtle and vulnerable than a woman’s. In his inner world, a man who is often externally successful is a little boy looking for approval and recognition that he could not get from his parents. A wise woman senses this and gives him respect and the opportunity to grow. Men contribute to the development of their inner world:
- trips;
- moderate austerities;
- sport;
- overcoming obstacles;
- responsibility for the family;
- sincere conversations with your soulmate.
Problems
Psychology examines the inner essence. The problems raised by science concern the individual and the entire society.
Reflection of the soul
Feelings and emotions are considered the mirror of the soul. The soul is a dynamic concept that tends to change. When a person stops feeling his thoughts, desires, and shows indifference to others, they say that his soul is empty or dead, and in moments of joy and happiness it sings.
Communication with the outside world
The human environment is called the external world. This includes social relationships, interaction with nature, and the organs of cognition (smell, vision, touch). There is a relationship between the inner and outer world. When you feel good, things work out, relationships work out. If a person experiences irritability or dissatisfaction, he will demonstrate this attitude to those around him. The perception of the world is distorted by phobias, fears, and complexes.
Opinions of experts and philosophers
The subjective reality of man began to be studied in ancient times, when philosophers became interested in the internal aspect of life. Initially, it was identified with the soul - an invisible substance languishing in the human body and associated with the divine spirit. If an individual did good deeds, they said that he had a good soul. Bad deeds were explained by the fact that a person sold his soul to the devil. This understanding of human essence can be traced in modern religion, but the points of view of psychology and philosophy are mixed in here.
When a person lives in harmony with himself and his environment, they say that he has a rich world inside. Life passes consciously, because every new day should be better than the previous one.
