Today I will tell you about a drug that I really like for its mild effect. True, it does not always help with severe anxiety, but it is still one of the safest tranquilizers.
Atarax contains the active ingredient hydroxyzine, which is in many ways similar to cetirizine (cetrin), which many take for allergies. Atarax, by the way, will also help those who itch - however, not from allergies, but from nerves.
This is a tranquilizer, and in fact the mildest one. And, by the way, if we consider that other tranquilizers (except phenazepam), after our wise government placed them in List III, are now very difficult to obtain, then atarax becomes very attractive in the eyes of many.
What does atarax help with?
First of all - from anxiety. However, it should not be “exorbitant”, otherwise he will not cope. At medium and light it will do its job perfectly.
It also has a mild antispasmodic effect, especially if you have stomach pain from nerves. It really helps, I tested it myself.
It perfectly normalizes sleep, but, again, in mild cases. It does not “knock out” like other tranquilizers, but gently calms.
