Acting in accordance with your goal means acting in accordance with the rules and principles that this goal implies, as well as firmly following the intended path. When we deviate from the path, in the hope of finding an easier or more profitable path, we lose our original goal and our aspirations will lead us just like the wind carries a leaf through the air. And this completely binds us. Since we do not have the strength to solve even the smallest problem, our path will be doomed to failure. It is important to monitor your condition and constantly be aware of your current state: successes and failures. This will make it possible to act further and adequately assess the situation.

Acting correctly - following general principles . If our path is contrary to humanity or serves the sole purpose of satisfying ourselves, it is not the true path. In addition to the fundamental features, being on the right path means taking productive actions that contribute to progress. Spiritual and material determination

The determination that motivates a person to strive for the fruits of religion, material prosperity and sense gratification is of the nature of the mode of passion, O Arjuna.

Even if we sometimes have to engage in material labor, but if we devote our thoughts, speech, mind, and ourselves not to the original goals, but switch to external goals that are designed to support our spiritual aspirations, this is a dangerous manifestation of delusion.

To understand this example, you can imagine that a person who came to enjoy the moonlight on a hill was cold and lit a fire in order to warm up. However, maintaining the fire fascinated him so much that the person behind the light of the fire could no longer see the light of the Moon. Thus, the original goal of man was lost in favor of a local, temporary goal. This happens often. Sometimes people devote their lives to their family and, in an effort to invest as much as possible in the family, either forget about it, spending too much time at work, or forcefully invest in their children what they themselves would like to see. This is a pervasive example of confusion in purpose.
