Emotions. Forms of expression of emotions. Feelings. Affects.

List of basic human feelings

The very first person who decided to describe the five basic senses of man was Aristotle. It was this outstanding scientist who was able to give his own definition to this, even despite the fact that he repeatedly got into trouble, arguing that people think with their hearts, and bees should thank decaying bull carcasses for their appearance in the world. But this time he hit the mark. Therefore, below is a list through which you can familiarize yourself with what feelings are. This is the generally accepted opinion, including Aristotle.

  1. Vision - we see everything that happens around us, each experiencing what we see in our own way.
  2. Taste - we can determine the taste qualities not only of products, but also of who dresses and how, etc.
  3. Hearing - when we hear any sound or saying, we can be happy, angry, panic, etc.
  4. Touch is the sensation of touching something.
  5. The sense of smell is a response to the perception of various kinds of odors.
  6. Thermoception is the sensation of warmth or lack thereof by the surface of the skin.
  7. Equibrioception is the control of balance determined by the fluid cavities of our inner ear.
  8. Nociception is pain sensations in the skin, joints and other organs of our body. For some strange reason, this category does not include the brain. This is most likely due to the fact that it lacks pain-sensing receptors. The brain is not the cause of headaches, as some people think.
  9. Proprioception is the sense of your own body. For example, with our eyes closed, we can clearly determine the location of our body parts by simply waving our hand in the air. In any case, a person will know where his palm is currently located in relation to other parts of the body.

Negative emotions

As with positive emotions, understanding negative emotions is extremely important in order to establish effective communication with a person, identify lies and hidden motives, and convince him of your point of view. To do this, you need to carefully observe his facial expressions, physiology and body language.

Emotions are a mental process of medium duration, reflecting a subjective evaluative attitude towards existing or possible situations and the objective world. They manifest themselves primarily in facial microexpressions and body language. Here are the most common and characteristic signs of a person experiencing negative emotions.

Anxiety

  • Brilliant eyes.
  • The eyebrows are slightly knitted together.
  • The chin is wrinkled.
  • The head is slightly tilted.
  • Fussiness.
  • Any similar senseless movements such as mixing the contents of your pocket.

Fear

  • Eyes wide open, closed, or looking down.
  • Raised eyebrows.
  • The mouth is open or the corners of the mouth are drooping.
  • Tucked chin.
  • Pale face.
  • Trembling voice.
  • Defensive body reaction (for example, crossed arms).

Anger

  • Eyes wide open.
  • The eyebrows are drawn together.
  • Wrinkled forehead.
  • Flared nostrils.
  • Exposed teeth.
  • Clenched lips.
  • Clenched fists.
  • Redness on the face.
  • Intense look.

Sadness

  • Eyes drooping, possibly moist or tearful.
  • Head down.
  • Lips are pinched.
  • Slow movements and breathing.

Envy

  • Gaze.
  • The corners of the mouth are downturned.
  • Sneer.
  • Protruding chin.

Boredom

Despite the fact that boredom is considered a neutral emotion, it is rather negative because it spoils the mood.

  • Eyes looking into nowhere.
  • Fixed face.
  • The corners of the mouth are downturned.
  • The head is supported by the hand.

Disgust

  • The eyes and head turn away from the disgusting object.
  • Flared nostrils.
  • Sneer.
  • Mouth closed.

Shame

  • The eyes and head are down.
  • Eyebrows lowered.
  • The skin on the face turns red.

A pity

  • Eyes wide open.
  • The eyebrows are slightly pulled together.
  • The corners of the mouth are downturned.
  • The head is tilted to the side.

Be careful when observing a person. Any little thing can be of great importance, but at the same time, it is wrong to draw any conclusions based on only a couple of signs. When collecting information about a person's emotions and body language, you can use a technique called the 5 Cs.

5 Cs

If you are communicating with a person and their arms are crossed, does that mean they are being defensive and using their arms as a barrier? Or could it mean that he feels great and is reflecting? Or maybe he is relaxed and just comfortable?

Answer : it all depends on the circumstances. Interpreting body language means much more than just observing it.

Here's a simple technique to better interpret body language and other nonverbal cues. It consists of 5 points and is based on a critical approach.

Hints

When we perform an action, our entire body, along with our psyche, comes into motion. We do and say things in response to what others do and say. These external events act as cues (or “triggers”) that stimulate internal responses.

When you notice a certain gesture from your interlocutor, you should ask the question: “What just happened that could lead to this?”

Clues can also be internal, where thoughts about a person's problems lead to changes in body language and facial expressions. In this case, you might ask yourself, “Given this body language, what might he be feeling or thinking?”

In a word, look for clues, but you must understand that there is nothing superfluous. Everything is important: emotionally charged words, emotions, facial expressions, gestures, body position. Also find out what emotions the person is trying to suppress.

Changes

It is very important to be attentive and watch the transitions from one body language to another. For example, when a welcoming posture becomes defensive, when a person suddenly begins to stammer or scratch their ear or nose (this indicates that they are experiencing discomfort).

When you notice a sudden change in your partner's body language, go back mentally and think about what could have led to it. If a person begins to sharply avert his eyes to the side, this is a very clear sign. Which, by the way, doesn't necessarily mean he's lying. However, he definitely experiences some not the most pleasant emotions. Successful salespeople do just that: they watch for changes in the customer's body language after each remark and adjust their speech.

Clusters

Changes are often characterized not by one single feature, but by a whole complex of them. These are clusters - a group of clues united by one emotion.

For example, a person can sequentially:

  • cross your arms;
  • change posture;
  • lean forward slightly;
  • close your lips;
  • frown.

All this added up is a sign of disagreement with your point of view. It is much more effective to judge from clusters rather than from a single movement, because the risk of being wrong is greatly reduced.

However, there cannot be one hundred percent certainty. For example, sometimes clusters may contradict each other. In this case, it is worth observing the person longer, or relying entirely on intuition.

Character

Another factor that can either destroy your theory about your interlocutor or confirm it is the character (or temperament) of the person. For example, an extrovert may make frequent and energetic movements, while an introvert will use stiff gestures. In this situation, it is easy to make a mistake and assume that in the first case we are dealing with a person engaged in narcissism, and in the other - with a timid one.

In our effort to read others (and therefore predict their actions), we often misinterpret the body's limited signals and then filter what we see through these incorrect mental models.

Temperament, mood, and even shorter-term emotions can also act as modifiers that influence body language and make it difficult to interpret. However, if you can determine a person's current emotional state, you will be able to apply this knowledge to your analysis and thus better understand what the movements actually mean.

Context

The final factor to consider when reading body language is the broader context that can affect how the other person thinks, feels, and acts.

What happens in the immediate environment can have a clear effect, for example, when guys are in the presence of attractive girls, they will show off more, engage in posing and other attractive movements.

All these nuances with examples and exercises are discussed in detail in the “Profiling” course. If you are interested in the topic, be sure to pay attention to it.

How can you feel for a friend?

What are your feelings towards a friend? It happens that a person does not even suspect the existence of friendship, but he is drawn to someone, he is overwhelmed with feelings, and begins to fantasize:

  1. I am drawn to this man in a brotherly way.
  2. We just have a normal relationship.
  3. We are just work colleagues.
  4. I am interested in spending time with this person, etc.

At the same time, anxiety is felt, on a subconscious level, anxiety, guilt. These doubts can completely ruin relationships. It becomes especially uncomfortable when this friendship is mistakenly perceived as love. In this case, friends may think about further developing the relationship, even sexual, or simply break up.

But in any case, the feeling of a friend’s elbow in many cases instills confidence that you are not alone, you feel the support of a friend. This means that in return he can receive the same friendly devotion.

Negative human emotions. What are emotions?

Emotions are complex reactions that affect both the body and mind. These reactions include:

❶ Subjective mental state such as anger, anxiety or resentment;

❷ Urges to action, such as flight or attack, whether expressed openly or not;

❸ Profound changes in the body, such as an increase in heart rate or blood pressure.

Some of the changes in the body take a very long time and have very serious consequences. Others, such as postures, gestures and facial expressions, occur instantly and convey to others what we feel.

In this article we will look at the main negative feelings and emotions and what they can lead to. We will answer the question of what their impact on life is, and we will analyze the causes of negative emotions. We will also analyze the role of negative emotions in a person’s life.

So, briefly but succinctly about the 7 most destructive emotions and feelings.

What are the feelings for a girl?

What could be simpler than telling her that you love her. This phrase is considered the most correct when expressing one’s feelings, while simultaneously showing how strong they are. But there are other ways of such recognition. Here are the feelings for a girl, and how they can be expressed in words:

  1. I'm so lucky to have met you!
  2. I really like your gentle hands.
  3. I adore your flexible nature, etc.

These various statements express love for precisely those features of the partner that cause certain feelings of euphoria. It's always nice for your partner to hear how important he is to you. You should definitely tell your girl how much positivity she brings to your life cycle. By this you show how valuable, loved and necessary she is to you.

List of basic emotions and feelings

What are the feelings and emotions of a person? It is simply impossible to list them all. In this regard, we decided to name only a few. Moreover, they are all divided into three different groups.

Positive:

  • pleasure;
  • jubilation;
  • joy;
  • pride;
  • delight;
  • confidence;
  • confidence;
  • Delight;
  • sympathy;
  • love (or affection);
  • love (sexual attraction to a partner);
  • respect;
  • gratitude (or appreciation);
  • tenderness;
  • complacency;
  • tenderness;
  • gloat;
  • bliss;
  • feeling of satisfied revenge;
  • feeling of self-satisfaction;
  • feeling of relief;
  • anticipation;
  • feeling of security.

Negative:

Neutral:

  • astonishment;
  • curiosity;
  • amazement;
  • calm and contemplative mood;
  • indifference.

Now you know what feelings a person has. Some to a greater extent, some to a lesser extent, but each of us has experienced them at least once in our lives. Negative emotions that are ignored and not recognized by us do not just disappear. After all, the body and soul are one, and if the latter suffers for a long time, then the body takes on some part of its heavy burden. And it’s not for nothing that they say that all diseases are caused by nerves. The influence of negative emotions on human well-being and health has long been a scientific fact. As for positive feelings, the benefits of them are clear to everyone. After all, experiencing joy, happiness and other emotions, a person literally consolidates in his memory the desired types of behavior (feelings of success, well-being, trust in the world, people around him, etc.).

Neutral feelings also help people express their attitude towards what they see, hear, etc. By the way, such emotions can act as a kind of springboard to further positive or negative manifestations.

Thus, by analyzing his behavior and attitude to current events, a person can become better, worse, or remain the same. It is these properties that distinguish people from animals.

A huge number of different myths are concentrated around human emotions and feelings. This is due to the fact that people have a poor understanding of their diversity and importance. To learn to understand each other correctly, you need to understand what types of emotions exist and find out their characteristics. In addition, you need to learn to distinguish genuine feelings from mere window dressing.

What are emotions and feelings?

The emotional sphere of a person is a complex intricacy of elements that together make it possible to experience everything that happens to him and around him. It consists of four main components:

  • Emotional tone is a response in the form of an experience that sets the state of the body. It is this that informs the body about how satisfied its current needs are and how comfortable it is now. If you listen to yourself, you can evaluate your emotional tone.
  • Emotions are subjective experiences relating to situations and events that are important to a person.
  • A feeling is a person’s stable emotional attitude towards some object. They are always subjective and appear in the process of interaction with others.
  • An emotional state differs from a feeling by its weak focus on an object, and from an emotion by its greater duration and stability. It is always triggered by certain feelings and emotions, but at the same time as if on its own. A person may be in a state of euphoria, anger, depression, melancholy, etc.

How do you feel about the guy?

What are your feelings for a guy? This can be called ordinary infatuation, when such sympathy, and possibly interest, is shown towards him. And when people stay together for a long period of time, but without love for each other, and do not imagine themselves apart, then this is called deep affection.

But the strongest feeling is love for a guy, which not everyone can experience. According to some sources, today over 90% of people living together do not feel love for a guy.

Mutual love, as such, practically does not exist between modern people and young people. It is because of this that there are a large number of failed marriages that fall apart in just a couple of years, and then children, if any, suffer.

How can you feel for a man?

Now let's try to figure out what feelings there are for a man, especially if he is loved.

  1. Melancholy
    is a very complex mental state, because of which the day can go down the drain, all thoughts are only about him, and you even lose sleep. You can feel sad for various reasons, for example, because of a quarrel or when he is not around. Because of melancholy, you become indifferent to everything that surrounds you, and you are overcome by a feeling of sadness, loneliness and grief.
  2. Joy
    is the most beautiful experience you can experience when you see your beloved man. You rejoice at every small detail that happens in your life.
  3. Concern
    will come when you are not indifferent to what is happening to him there. You begin to worry about his health, state of mind, etc.
  4. Trust
    is nothing more than a solid foundation for a strong relationship. It is a very fragile feeling that can be lost in a matter of seconds. It may not be so easy to earn it.
  5. Jealousy
    is the reason why people who love each other break up. After all, every person has this feeling to varying degrees. It is necessary to wage an irreconcilable struggle with it, otherwise it will interfere with a full life. But a little jealousy is not good for a more piquant relationship.

Negative feelings and emotions

Freeing ourselves from negative feelings Negative emotions and feelings from the past. How to get rid of negative feelings and emotions.

Greetings friends . Today’s topic is how you can get rid of feelings and emotions that have a powerful negative impact on us, not only on our well-being at the moment, but on our entire life as a whole.

After all, as you know, it’s not only bad thoughts that are to blame for our bad mood and well-being; more often than not, it all starts with them. And it will not be possible to immediately, by throwing these thoughts out of your head, free yourself from a bad mood and from emotional experiences - this is due to the internal sensations, emotions and images associated with these thoughts.

A thought, strengthened by an image and the corresponding sensations and emotions that arise, is many times more stable, intrusive and stronger; it is no longer just an unpleasant thought.

One of the methods that can be applied in any situation and tune in to the positive: Imagine three pictures with different plots - the ocean and the rays of the sun reflecting from the water; winter and ski resort in the Alps; waterfall and unusual plants around, etc..

These pictures should be bright, pleasant and at the same time contrasting . Hold your attention on each for 3-10 seconds. Then you can repeat everything and, if the desire arises, over a longer period of time. And if you are at home, then just do some activity - cooking, cleaning, washing, etc., do not allow yourself to focus your attention on something bad, this will first help you distract and calm down, and then, internally, it will allow you to tune in, relax and collect yourself. In general, practical actions (activities) are not immediately true, but they are very calming.

But there are such negative feelings and emotions that sit deep inside us. Often, these are the consequences of the past, some very unpleasant events, and their influence is much stronger and more stable.

Such feelings can automatically, unconsciously emerge from our subconscious at the wrong moment, and have a powerful, uncontrollable impact on our mood, thinking, well-being and energy. Consciously understanding everything, a person cannot cope with them.

And these feelings can constantly influence a person throughout his life, they become chronic, it turns out that bodily sensations begin to autonomously influence our thinking, the mind obeys the body.

This can be expressed in a painful, uncontrollable feeling of dependence on situations or people; in some fears of something or someone; in unreasonable (incomprehensible) worries and much, much more.. These feelings do not allow a person to frankly express his opinion, do not allow him to do what he wants, do not allow him to look at the world and people without a negative attitude and prejudices.

How can you begin to get out of what is preventing you from living and get rid of a certain, negative feeling?

You can, of course, as I already wrote, contact a psychologist, a good specialist will advise, guide and select the individual method that is most suitable for a given person.

Well, now I’ll tell you about one rather powerful method that everyone can use. This practice is used in both traditional and non-traditional treatments.

So, a good way to change the way you think about negative, deep-seated feelings is through “reframing.”

Revision is when a person reproduces and relives external

circumstances that greatly influenced his life. Particularly important are those situations that first provoked these negative emotions and experiences.

There is really one “but” here; in many cases it can be difficult, and sometimes impossible, to determine what actually became the beginning of the internal problem.

In other cases, for example, “rape”, you were beaten or you once experienced an acute feeling of shame or guilt (psychotrauma), after which something turned upside down inside you (stuck inside), here it is clear what you need to work with and this is an exercise in mainly for situations like this.

“Revision,” unlike ordinary memories, must reproduce as accurately as possible the entire external environment of a particular event. This is a deep, with all the smallest details, recollection of your inner feelings at that moment and everything that happened around.

This is the most suitable way for a person to re-experience and fully live past emotions to get rid of their influence on the present. That is, completely change your attitude towards them and gradually neutralize the influence of these feelings.

“Reviewing” can be done at any time, as long as there is a suitable, calm environment.

It is possible, and for some it is even better, to do it in writing, that is, reviewing some situation and at the same time describing everything in detail on paper. Or do it according to Castaneda, that is, mentally immersing yourself in yourself, remembering the images of that situation and experiencing the surging emotions.

Here you don’t need to think about which method is better, visual or with writing, it all depends on what suits you best, what will be better perceived and influences you. You can understand this yourself by trying it in practice.

In the case of a revision with a description of everything on paper, you need to take into account that while remembering, viewing and feeling everything in detail, you don’t need to be too distracted by the design of images, otherwise you will move away from the essence. And when reviewing, the important thing is not how often you do it, but how well you do it.

And also, don’t make the mistake that many people make when trying to solve everything, review and get rid of all their accumulated internal problems in one or two minutes. Everything should move slowly and deeply . You will experience in practice in life whether something worked or not. And this will work, it is very important here that you discover inner resources in yourself, because everything comes from within us, more inspiration and energy will appear that were not there before. The initial, positive result will be that you will begin to feel calmer about what previously unbalanced you, and it will become easier and faster to switch from negative to positive.

But guys, all this needs to be done, and not just after reading, we start to do something, but some short time passes and without feeling magical changes, we give up or are simply lazy. In order to achieve results in anything, you need to take steps, sometimes a lot of them, and this rule applies in everything, otherwise you understand, everyone would have been healthy, rich and happy a long time ago.

And finally, a little about our thoughts and predispositions - a person is much more inclined to pay attention, concentrate, and give credit

negative thoughts than positive ones.

A positive thought came and God be with it, the main thing is not to bother us and okay - we don’t give it due importance, which means it flies by unnoticed and does not give us the energy that it could and should have given.

Plus, even trying to keep their attention on it and feel its positive, many have simply forgotten how to do this, for them it still remains of little significance and little interest, especially if there are so many things, problems and worries around, in this case you need to learn to listen and see again everything is positive, learn to concentrate your attention on it a little at a time, that is, become an optimist.

But if some kind of disgusting thing has visited us, here we are drawn to it as to our own mother, we are ready to repeatedly chase it in our heads and you can’t just drag it away by the ears, just let us suck it all down to the bone in the hope that the remaining bone will not disturb us and will not bring us harm. We poison our own lives with anger, envy, worry over trifles, constant thoughts about problems and the inability to relax. But the ability to relax , the ability to concentrate on the most important thing and the ability to live for pleasure is a real art and you really need to learn this.

In fact, this is only a superficial article, a continuation and deeper acquaintance with our emotions and feelings, with our stereotypes and dogmas, as well as with our subconscious and conscious, and how to live with all this, how to learn to control our emotions in this article >>

also like to add, if you feel bad, you constantly experience negative feelings, internal contradictions and this situation has gone on for too long, allow yourself to admit, fully agree with it and just be in this state, without fighting or trying to do something about it. You will see that after some time you will feel better.

Struggle helps not to sink lower, but it is depressing and does not allow you to break away from the problem in order to gain strength and understand yourself . And this, in turn, does not allow you to budge; the struggle, in essence, only tightens the noose.

Sometimes you even need to sink to the very bottom and, having calmed down, realize what you really need and then, calmed down, push off well and climb out.

And friends, you must understand that you will not change your life with thoughts alone, but you can back them up with awareness of the reasons (why everything is so bad) and with your actions , and then everything is in your hands. Good luck!

Sincerely, Andrey Russkikh

What are the senses of humor?

Try asking anyone you meet if he has a good sense of humor, in most cases the answer will be positive, which will be difficult to refute. The whole point of the question is that the ability to joke and the receptiveness of jokes is individual for each person. This is precisely the reason that one and the same joke will seem worthless, while another will find it simply excellent, and everyone here will be right in their own way.

Let's take a look at Sigmund Freud's famous quote: “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but a joke is not always just a joke.” It is this expression that gives the answer to the question “What are the types of feelings of humor?”, because they are divided into different types and have a strong connection with a person’s personality.

In 2003, psychologist and researcher Rod Martin conducted a questionnaire survey with which he was able to identify up to four types of senses of humor:

  1. Affiliative type.
  2. Self-destructive type.
  3. Optimistic type.
  4. Aggressive type.

Showing feelings

Feelings, only feelings, and nothing more! Conflict situations cause emotions. Your ability to manage your own feelings has a huge impact on the emotional state of the interlocutor. On the other hand, if you act as if there are no emotions, this will also be contrary to reality. The main thing here is to express in words, and not show your emotions, i.e. It's time to use the expression of feelings.

When you talk about your feelings rather than trying to show them, this behavior is key to maintaining composure. In this case, the tool for expressing feelings is of great practical importance.

Definition and purpose of the instrument of manifestation of feelings

With this tool, you talk about your emotions that you experience in a given situation in a direct manner, trying to help the interlocutor better understand your message and show him the importance of the issue you raised in a conflict situation.

Showing feelings should not make others feel guilty or blame someone else for a problem. By reproaching or blaming others, you encourage negativism and hostile reactions. Both greatly reduce the likelihood of reaching any satisfactory solution.

Using a tool for expressing feelings

The feeling expression tool is often used after description (see previous articles”). The description identifies your question or problem, after which you can express your feelings in a few sentences, which will allow the interlocutor to see how you feel in the current situation. Below are some instructions on how to use the Feelings Tool constructively.

Show that the message of feelings is your own. Say I, me, mine. to show that these feelings are truly your own.

Name the feelings you have. Tell me directly what emotions you are experiencing. Speak in positive language and a sincere tone. Express your message in a sincere tone, trying to convey the essence as accurately as possible, while showing respect to the listener throughout the conversation. Avoid bullet words and other harsh remarks. Don't show your feelings. Compare two examples.

• Statement of feelings: “I was very upset by these actions.” • Expressing feelings: “I just hate it when you act like that.”

Give constructive reasons to explain your feelings. Keep your explanations brief and focus on the problems and actions you witnessed. Do not give your interpretations or voice your assumptions about the intentions of other communicators. Leave this job of the day as a psychoanalyst. Pay attention to what happened rather than trying to guess what the meaning was behind it all.

Returning to a scenario involving two people—the project manager and Victor, the clerk—here's how to use the sentiment tool: “Victor, based on the observations I've already shared with you regarding your constant interference with a new client, I I feel superfluous and extremely disappointed in the lack of a smooth transition of the matter under my responsibility as the project manager.”

As this example shows, when using the sentiment tool, you are trying to inform and make the other person understand the current situation. You do not blame anyone for the fact that you were terribly insulted and offended. Therefore, continue to speak in constructive language and in a sincere tone. Don't be afraid to tell your interlocutor how you feel in the current situation. It's better to let your feelings out rather than hide them and let them weigh you down. Sincere and constructive expression of feelings sets you on the path to making decisions about the conflict, because... By your actions you begin a productive dialogue. The essence of the conflict resolution process is working together to achieve a positive result.

About feelings between a man and a woman

It is not difficult to say what feelings there are between a man and a woman, for example, love. But sometimes it is questioned, since someone else may appear between them.

Or maybe just friendship, but this is more often the case when a woman looks like a man, and they cannot like each other. But this barrier can sometimes be removed by the amount of alcohol you drink.

Sometimes in a relationship everything is confusing to such an extent that it’s not easy to figure it out on your own. It can be just love or just dislike, and this does not interfere with living together. In the process of this, there may be an accumulation of aggressive emotions characteristic of this pair of people who at a certain period of time were in love with each other, and then, by some chance, the feelings faded away, leaving only the bitterness of memories.

In most cases, when you ask a woman what caused her unsuccessful marriage, you will always hear the same statements:

  1. Why did I have to marry him?
  2. I killed the best years of my life, etc.

But when a man is a true gentleman, he will try to assure her that these were some of the best years of their life together.

About anger

The trigger for anger is the perception of a situation as devaluing us or threatening our ideas, beliefs and values. The subconscious purpose of anger and anger is to protect against this threat.

Oddly enough, anger can also have a positive effect. Because it is natural to experience negative emotions.

For example, with the help of anger in some situations you can break through the perception of another person and convey to him some important idea. Our anger can tell a person about the importance of a particular situation.

Anger can also motivate you to develop the skills you need to live a successful and happy life. It can be used as a source of power, but only in isolated cases. If a person thinks that with the help of anger you can organize your life, this is not so. Anger can sometimes be used as additional motivation, but nothing more.

Anger, like other emotions, can be disguised (humor, resentment) or taken out on those who have nothing to do with it.

Insecure people are more likely to express anger towards other people. They react sharply to ambiguous situations and get irritated at every occasion. Moreover, the situation itself may be trivial, but the anger that it evokes in a person can drown everything around.

Some people are more vulnerable to anger in situations where they feel they have been unfairly treated. Others have developed beliefs that cause them to judge people as angry and aggressive, even if they have done nothing to cause it.

This is the realm of prejudices and stereotypes, another proof that anger is not a problem of others, but a manifestation of a person’s inner world.

How to deal with anger?

How to cope with negative emotions?

People have a natural tendency to react aggressively to things they don't like, but this doesn't help solve problems.

We can trust that destroying or humiliating someone we deem worthy of blame will preserve our integrity and heal our wounds. However, anger expressed in the form of violence will not lead to anything good. He will drive away people close to us, take away our dreams, destroy relationships, turn the whole world against us.

It is very important to control anger; it is simply necessary for a calm and peaceful life.

Repressing anger once does not cause any physical or psychological problems. The anger will gradually dissipate without any consequences. But when anger manifests itself constantly, then a threat to a person’s health and the quality of his relationships with the outside world arises.

It is necessary to minimize the influence of negative emotions, including anger. The main strategies for managing anger are reassessing the situation that causes anger, empathy for the problems of other people, and the ability to listen and hear. This is direct work with negative emotions.

Plus, you don't have to take everything personally. If a person said and did something that we don’t like, it is not necessary that he wanted to hurt us.

In any case, anticipating the negative consequences of expressing anger or worse - violence, remembering the life goals that need to be achieved, it will be better to deprive yourself of ephemeral, explosive relief for the sake of a happy, harmonious life.

How do you feel when you love

Try to close your eyes for a moment and imagine that your loved one has no place in your life. Well, will you feel its lack? By the way, this is a serious question. Love has many obstacles, but will the absence of your loved one cause you anxiety?

God forbid your loved one gets sick, will you be by his side? Psychologists consider this issue vitally important. It’s not for nothing that when getting married they make a promise to be there not only in health, but also in illness. None of us are immune from health problems, and they arise precisely when you least expect them. In this case, is your half capable of staying with you for the rest of your life?

How do you feel when bad things are said about your loved one, even if you have quarreled with him? When you show anger towards a person, it is at this moment that real feelings for him are expressed. Do you feel offended by malicious words addressed to your loved one? If you have true love for him, then even if you are offended by him, you will defend him from the attacks of others. This is what it feels like when you truly love.

Tactile sensations are divided into feelings of pressure, pain, temperature, etc. They occur during irritation of nerve endings located in tissues, which have a special structure.

What feelings does a person have? In addition to all of the above, people also have feelings such as:

  • Static (body position in space and a sense of its balance). This feeling occurs during irritation of the nerve endings that are located in the semicircular canals of the ear.
  • Muscular, joint and tendon. They are very difficult to observe, but they are of the nature of internal pressure, tension and even slip.
  • Organic or somatic. Such feelings include hunger, nausea, sensations of breathing, etc.

What are the feelings? How can you feel about the guy you love?

What it means to love and what feelings we have for a loved one are questions that interest everyone. The answers are striking in their diversity. One thing is clear, the feelings experienced for a loved one can be completely different, from the most pleasant and tender to the most terrible and destructive.

The desire to care, protect and give all of oneself is not love as such or feelings, it is rather a consequence of love.

Let's figure out what feelings you may have for your loved one.

Yearning. This is a very difficult mental state. Melancholy - when you spend the day flying by, you think about him and cannot fall asleep until he wishes you pleasant dreams. Melancholy is when you quarreled, and you want to howl because of it. That he is terribly missed.

While experiencing a feeling of melancholy, you may also feel indifference to the world around you, loneliness, grief and sadness,

Joy. A very wonderful feeling that you can have for your loved one.

You rejoice at every little thing that happens in your destiny. In the morning you woke up and the first thing you saw was how sweetly he smiled in his sleep. Isn't this a reason for joy?

Anxiety. When you care what happens to him. You worry about his health and mental state. After all, you love him and wish him only the best.

Confidence. The foundation of a strong and reliable relationship for every couple. Trust is a very fragile feeling that can be lost in one second. And sometimes it can be very difficult to earn it. But loving hearts are able to cope with any difficulty.

Jealousy is the reason for the breakup of loving couples. But this feeling is inherent in every person in different quantities. It is necessary to fight it when emotions and feelings of jealousy literally prevent you from living to the fullest. And a very small drop of jealousy can only make a relationship more piquant.

In fact, the list of feelings experienced for a loved one is huge. It will be very difficult to list it in one article. Moreover, each person has his own special ability to feel. Each of us has our own limit of feelings and emotions.

When you love, you can simultaneously feel: love and hate, joy and anger, euphoria and melancholy, sadness and disappointment, gratitude, lightness, trust, or vice versa, Jealousy and fear of losing a loved one, peace or suspicion.

As you can see, the list is varied, although not all feelings are represented. Many people can live their entire lives and, for example, never experience feelings of jealousy or disappointment in a loved one.

It can be argued that there are feelings experienced for a loved one about which we still know nothing, since no one has had to experience it.

It is also very difficult to describe feelings. Using a sea of words to express this or that feeling is stupid. The best way to communicate your feelings is to simply name it at the exact moment you feel it.

Similarities and differences with emotions

Emotions and feelings in psychology have an inseparable connection: they form the emotional background. Often the individual does not see the difference between them. But they differ in duration, depth, and degree of manifestation.

Feeling is a person’s deep, stable attitude towards an event or phenomenon. It is often hidden, it can be consciously suppressed, masked. Containing emotions is more difficult. They appear as a short burst, a fleeting reaction. Emotions manifest themselves unconsciously. Feelings are conscious manifestations aimed at a specific goal. Emotions can be experienced without external stimulus. For example, an individual experiences strong emotional excitement when listening to music or watching a movie. He empathizes with fictional characters.

When experiencing emotions, a person gives a subjective assessment of what is happening. It depends on the characteristics of his nervous system: phlegmatic people are low-emotional, and choleric people find it difficult to restrain themselves. Sanguine people easily experience strong emotions, but they cause inconvenience to melancholic people. It is impossible to change the characteristics of the nervous system, but you can learn to control emotions. To do this, an individual must distinguish between emotions and feelings and not be afraid of the negative spectrum of emotions.

What are the feelings? How can you feel about the guy you love?

Man

is he overwhelmed by sexual desire, is that the only reason he wants to get him into bed or does he really love? To find out the truth of a man’s feelings if he lures her into bed, first of all, a woman needs to understand her feelings.

There are three main motivations to explain why women

agree to have an intimate relationship with a man: - she is in love and cannot refuse; - she is afraid of offending him with a refusal and losing him; - She herself wants sex.

The union of a man and a woman, when the man only wants sex, and the woman is overwhelmed with love for him and craves the same from him, as a rule, is short-lived. Women

attach great importance to the emotional side of intimate relationships, and for men the physiological aspect of these relationships is important. For a woman, consent to sex is an expression of her love for her beloved. She often explains her consent this way: if he is so gentle with me and wants me, it means that, just like me, he has true feelings of love for me. By kissing, hugging and caressing her beloved, she expresses the depth of her feelings for him. A man is consumed only by sexual desire, he skillfully pretends and speaks beautifully about love. In bed, a man can be attentive and gentle, but feel only passion for a woman. Often, even those women who did not have strong feelings for a man before starting an intimate relationship fall deeply in love with him after sex, mistaking his passionate kisses and affection for love.

Close relationships between a man and a woman, when the man is possessed by the usual desire for sex, and the woman agrees, fearing to offend him by refusal, are also quite common. It is important for women to understand that you cannot tie a man to you only by making love to him in bed. A man can highly appreciate a woman if she is relaxed in bed and a sophisticated lover who gives him great pleasure in bed. But if a woman has no other merits, just being a great lover is not enough for a serious relationship. In bed, he can shower a woman with the most tender words, even fantasize about future wonderful relationships, weddings and children. But as the man receives pleasure, his passion passes, and he very quickly forgets about his promises. In this case, it is useless for women to remind him that on a hot night he dreamed of starting a family. If a man is not in the mood for a serious relationship, then intimate relationships alone cannot be the reason for the manifestation of deep feelings in a man.

Talking about love during intercourse

, in fact, the man thinks so. He simply cannot control himself during passion and it really seems to him that he loves and adores this woman. After sex, a man’s emotions change, he thinks differently. To avoid disappointment and resentment, women need to draw a clear line between sex and love. There is no need to get carried away with romance during sex and believe the words of a man during sexual intercourse. We must never forget that a man equates sex and love only to influence women, but they themselves do not think so.

If you have doubts about the truth of a man’s feelings

, with whom you have been engaged in intimate relationships for a long time, this does not mean at all that this is the end of the relationship.
You just need to take a sober look at yourself and your partner
. Stop now, overcome your fear of losing him and think about the future. If a man only wanted pleasure from you, do not cling to him. Let this be a lesson to you, in the future, start and continue intimate relationships only with someone who truly loves you and can make you happy. Immediately at the beginning of a relationship, you need to understand the man’s feelings towards you, by his attitude and behavior towards you. It is worth doubting his feelings if a man is secretive and does not like to introduce you to his past life, does not show feelings of jealousy, is not interested in your problems, and does not introduce you to friends and relatives. But during dates, he showers you with compliments, gives you gifts and confesses his strong love.

If you want to be happy, then you need to build a relationship only with the man who truly loves you.
